    Pre-approved pledges or donations

    Out of the box, Franklin integrates seamlessly with Easy Digital Downloads, which provides the Paypal payment gateway as the free default payment gateway. There are many other payment gateways available on the Easy Digital Downloads extensions page.

    If you want pre-approved pledges that are paid out when the campaign goal is met, you will need to use either the WePay payment gateway, Paypal Adaptive Payments or Stripe(paid plugins).

    Important Notes

    Note: You can use any gateway you wish that is compatible with Easy Digital Downloads such as the free PayPal Standard gateway that is included with the plugin, just be advised that if you use a gateway that doesn’t support pre-approved payments your customers will be charged instantly instead of when the campaign ends/reaches its goal.
